Unlike $6,000 traditional certifiers, Validator is designed to work in real world situations by measuring the necessary parameters of cable systems and determining how well the data flow can be handled.  While it does TIA568 interconnect tests for physical wiring problems and does typical signal TIA568 test like Attenuation, Loss, Return Loss etc., the Validator is not just another TIA 568 certifier.  For instance, it does a Bit Error Rate Test (BERT) that sends live data packets down the cable under test to positively determine the speed and accuracy of real data flow.  A test that no certifier at any price does now.
