S50 LOUDSPEAKER SET

The S50 is a set of five, compact loudspeakers with extremely smooth sound reproduction, unusual in such a small system.  Several design elements, including specially matched components and a multi-element crossover, combine to yield outstanding performance from this compact and elegant system.  Omage's BBF series of active subwoofers are well recommended as bass reinforcement for these speakers.  The S50's are available in black or silver.

In case of power overload, a thermal protection device will lower the sound level until the overload situation is corrected, thus protecting the tweeter.   8-ELEMENT CROSSOVER

Special care was taken in developing this 8-element crossover network to protect the S50 tweeter and woofer from power overload and assure long life and smoother frequency response.  In case of power overload, a thermal protection device will lower the sound level until the overload situation is corrected, thus protecting the tweeter.  Capacitors wired in series will prevent low frequencies, beyond the driver's range, from damaging the woofer.
