The In-Trim woofer cone is a mica filled polypropylene cone suspended with a pure rubber surround. This mica filled cone is stiffer than a polypropylene cone and is capable of a deeper bass response. The inverted dust cap establishes a strong connection between the voice coil and cone, resulting in a smoother midrange in the 4,000 to 5,000 Hz area. All these design features enhance the

  SWIVELING
TWEETERAll Omage In-Trim in-wall loudspeakers use a 1" (25 mm) teterone synthetic silk dome tweeter for smoother highs and a flatter frequency response, so you experience the true sound of music as it was intended. This tweeter is also designed to resist a wide range of environmental conditions. A built-in protection system uses a Poly Switch (tweeter fuse) to shut down the tweeter in the event of a power overload. Swivel tweeters in both the in-wall and in-ceiling speakers are easily adjusted to create a "sweet zone" in any room configuration, enhancing the stereo imaging and sound field dramatically. |

| PRE-CONSTRUCTION BRACKETS Available as an option for each of the In-Trim speakers is a non-static vinyl pre-construction bracket (rough-in kit). They have nailing points at 16" centers and 24" centers to meet all common building codes. With Omage's easy cutout template, pre-installation is made simple. Pre-construction brackets are available in different sizes, specific to each model.

IN-TRIM SERIES HI-FI
IN-WALL LOUDSPEAKERS
The In-Trim in-wall speakers are designed to provide a
very flat frequency response utilizing a sophisticated second order Linkwitz-Riley
crossover network. This optimizes the performance of the woofer and
tweeter integration so that there are no dips in the frequency response.
In-Trim's Linkwitz-Riley crossover has a 12dB roll-off per
octave, permitting a clean transition from woofer to tweeter, as well as a
quicker roll-off to the woofer on the low end. This prevents woofer
distortion and breakup. The crossover consists of two coils (one iron
core, one air core), two precision capacitors, one resistor and one poly
switch for tweeter protection.
The IT5/IT6.5/IT8 are also available with 5.25" (13 cm),
6.5" (16.5 cm) and 8" (20 cm) woofer configurations.
