GENERAL INFORMATION
Fiber-Guard®/CR corrugated conduit is manufactured from HDPE resin as specified in ASTM F2160. It is available in two standard colors, orange or black. (Other colors can be made available but minimum run quantities may apply.) Fiber-Guard®/CR is available in standard strengths of 500# tensile. (Other strengths can be made available upon request, minimums will apply.)
Features & Benefits
  • Stocked in industry standard orange color for easy identification, also available in black.
  • Rugged corrugated design is flexible, light weight yet provides excellent crush resistance.
  • Made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
  • Choose from 4 diameters, 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2" and 2" to accommodate your specific cable diameter.
  • Sequential footage markings and product identification printed every 2 feet.
  • Standard lengths ranging from 250' coils to 5000' reels.
FAST AND EFFICIENT INSTALLATION
The lightweight, flexible corrugated design makes Fiber-Guard®/CR easy to handle and install. The corrugations provide excellent crush resistance for long term protection of delicate optical cables. Internal corrugations reduce surface contact between the inside wall of the conduit and the cable jacket, lowering friction while protecting the cable from high tensile stress during installation. Fiber-Guard®/CR is available with Bull-Line pull tape factory installed lowering field cable installation costs.
APPLICATION INFORMATION
Typical usage for fiber-Guard®/CR includes both buried and innerduct applications. CR can be direct buried and is frequently used for short runs. Corrugated product is commonly used as an innerduct for short pulls
MATERIAL PROPERTIES

Fiber-Guard®/CR conduit shall be made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE. The HDPE shall meet or exceed the properties listed in ASTM D-3350 for cell classification 334480 C (black minimum 2% carbon black) and E (color with UV stabilizer).

locate trace duct innerduct conduit PINPOINT® is a proven, reliable method for locating buried duct. The PINPOINT® wire is encased in HDPE providing a corrosion-resistant conductor. Ideal for plow, open trench or directional bores. It is extremely functional at a wide range of frequencies, compatible with industry standard locating equipment. No special tools are required to couple the duct and the PINPOINT® wire - current coupling methods can be utilized.

PINPOINT®  LOCATED BURIED DUCT

Aerial Drop duct designed for aerial applications, highway or water crossings, building to building, pole to house, added defense against rodent damage and gun shot pellets; easily maneuvered through heavily treed areas with one pass. Increase bandwidth to the home and small business with Aerial Drop Duct. Lightweight, self-supporting and small enough for pole-to-home use. Perfect for easy one-step placement of fiber optics, copper cable or coax applications with a permanent protected pathway for future cable upgrades or repairs.Aerial Drop duct is manufactured from the highest quality HDPE materials and ontains finely blended carbon black and antioxidants for maximum UV and thermal protection. The coextruded SILICORE® super slick permanent lining creates a pathway for easy fiber optic, power or coaxial placement, and eliminates the need for liquid lubricants in an aerial environment

FLEX-COR AERIAL CONDUIT FIGURE 8 AERIAL CONDUIT duct figure-8 innerduct outside Minimize your aerial installation and maintenance costs with FlexCor. Strand-Guard Figure-8 is ideal for use in limited access areas such as water crossings, interstate highway crossings or in heavily wooded areas where additional cable protection is necessary. The conduit design permits easy, straight payoff for direct placement onto the pole line and allows greater flexibility for future access to the cable. Standard pole mounting hardware and A-D Technologies' Split-Lock coupler are recommended for quick, airtight installation. No special expansion couplings are necessary, as the corrugated inner liner relieves the mechanical strain caused by extreme temperature changes.

Fiber-Guard® Flex-Cor is a jacketed-corrugated conduit designed for above ground installations in conduit or raceways on bridges or lashed to existing aerial plant. Fiber-Guard® Flex-Cor is also ideally suited for use in direct buried transition locations or for buried services. The Fiber-Guard® Flex-Cor jacketed-corrugated design and material properties compensate for the stresses of expansion and contraction, eliminating the need for special expansion sleeves. Fiber-Guard® Flex-Cor is made of a specially formulated polyethylene resin that resists the adverse effect of sunlight assuring long life in above ground installations. The standard product is available in 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2" and 2' diameters. The internal corrugated wall can be provided in colors for rapid route identification when installing the cables. The outer jacket is fused to the inner corrugated wall so the assembly performs as a single conduit during installation.
